We live in a world that is in constant motion. Things are constantly shifting. Nothing ever stays the same. Life never goes along as planned or expected.
I’ve learned that adapting is the key to survival. As we go through this journey known as life we go through different seasons. Different seasons call for different things. These sometimes include but are not limited to a shift in perspective(mindset), different behaviors, actions, associations and relationships etc.
Often as life goes on when we’re about to enter a new season or finish our time in one certain things become apparent that we must change. Or we need to switch up how we’re living so that we can be successful in that new season. If the changes aren’t apparent it’s possible that we maybe trying to fill our lives with “noise”. This “noise” can be excessive social media, continuing practices, thinking, associations or relationships that don’t serve us thus blocking us/distracting us from the ability to notice and effectively change to be successful. In order to counteract this noise we must step away from things, practices and or people that don’t serve us and draw us from acting out of our alignment. Then we must shift to focus on things, people, practices that can serve us and help us to be our best selves.
Change is hard of course because by nature we’re all creatures of habit. Luckily we don’t have to do it alone. If you’re having a tough time trying to adjust in your current season you can reach out to someone you love/trust for help, seek out practices that benefit you for me it’s prayer, therapy & being around loved ones.
The bottom line is you have to adapt. If you never change according to the direction that your life is moving to you’ll have a harder time growing and being more successful. Although change is hard and can be very emotional for some of us the rewards once endured are very rewarding. With change comes the opportunity for growth and being one step closer to being your best self (who you are unapologetically, walking in love and confidence, and owning your truth).
Much love to those of you who are hurting, going through a tough time or just struggling to love yourself and heal. Love, Cherie ❤️
